•NBA.com is celebrating the new dress code with a poll: Who was best-dressed in the first week? With about 14,000 votes in, Carlos Boozer led with 35%, followed by LeBron James (23%), Rip Hamilton (19%), Steve Nash (14%), Scot Pollard (7%) and David Stern (2%).

Some do it to make a buck by selling the names, some do it because they really want the coach canned, and others because they want to prevent such a site.

The strategy doesn't always work. One fan registered the www.firejohnlsmith.com name to shield the Michigan State coach, but another simply put up a www.firejohnlsmith.net site to start a petition drive against him.
