This year's Great Escape Festival is taking place in Brighton, across three days and nights, taking in 20 venues and over 180 of the best new artists and top pop combos.

The Great Escape Festival returns to Brighton on May 17, 18 and 19 and this year boasts an international line up that includes Tiny Dancer, Captain, Gallows, Good Shoes, Hot Club De Paris, Jack Penate, Mumm-Ra, Mr Hudson, The Hours, The Rakes, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Ali Love, Air Traffic and Adele.

They'll be joining a host of new talent from around the world including Australia (Sex Panther) Belgium (Goose) Brazil (CSS) Canada (Patrick Watson) Denmark (On No Ono) Finland (Magenta Skycode) France (Nouvelle Vague) Germany (Polarkreis 18) Ireland (The Immediate) The Netherlands (zZz) New Zealand (Die Die Die), Norway (120 Days) Scotland (1990s) South Africa (Nude Girls) Sweden (Hello Saferide) Switzerland (Navel) and United States (Willy Mason).

This years event also features a ‘Spotlight On Norway' (it says here) focusing on three of the brightest young bands from across the North Sea from Norway, 120 Days, The Lionheart Brothers and Adjagas. It's all about Scandirock. You heard it here first.
