A Leetsdale man was arrested Thursday on charges of using the Internet to sexually proposition and send graphic nude images to an undercover agent posing as a 13-year-old girl, state Attorney General Tom Corbett said.

Louis Michael Smith, 35, is accused of engaging in a series of chats between January and March with what he thought was a girl, describing in graphic detail the sex acts he wished to perform, Corbett said. Smith expressed concern during the chats that he would be labeled "a pervert" or a "child molester," Corbett said.

Smith was arraigned before District Justice Robert L. Ford in Leetsdale and jailed in lieu of $200,000 cash to await a preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
