Former Harnett County fire-rescue officer James Fearon Jr., 53, was arrested in Spring Lake on Wednesday. Thursday, a judge increased his bond to $100,000.

Fearon is accused of soliciting sex from a child over the Internet. Authorities say he send nude photos of himself to an undercover officer who was posing as a 14-year-old girl.
